About 3Cord Collective…

A History…
Welcome to my little corner of the world. I’m so glad you’re here.
3Cord Collective began with three of us sharing a simple desire: to create something that would encourage women in their faith and remind them of God’s truth in the middle of everyday life. We started this journey together, each bringing our own gifts, ideas, and hopes for what it could become.
As life often does, our paths eventually began to lead in different directions. The other two chose to pursue their own paths, and I continued carrying the heart of what we had started into this next chapter.
The name 3Cord Collective remains a reminder of where this journey began—and of the truth that inspired it: “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:12
Today, 3Cord Collective has grown into a place created from a desire to encourage women to grow in their faith through encouraging resources, faith-filled reflections, thoughtfully designed Christian gifts, and everyday reminders of God’s truth.
I believe the greatest opportunities to share Christ are often found in the ordinary moments of life. My prayer is that everything you’ll find here points you to Jesus, encourages your heart, and reminds you that even the smallest acts of faithfulness have eternal value.
Thank you for being here. I hope you’ll stay awhile, find something that speaks to your heart, and grow with me.
A Little About Myself…
If you’ve found your way here, I thought I’d take a moment to tell you a little about the woman behind 3Cord Collective.
“I am a Christian woman who values God, family, country, tradition, and the things worth preserving. I want my home, clothing, gifts, and surroundings to reflect those beliefs. I want to feel proud of who I am and what I stand for, while still having things that are beautiful, feminine, tasteful, and meaningful.”
I’m a lifelong Texan, a teacher at heart, a writer, a mother, a grandmother, and—most importantly—a woman who is still learning what it means to walk faithfully with Christ through every season of life.
I’ve spent more than 30 years in education, with degrees in Sociology and Early Childhood Education. I’ve been a teacher, school administrator, private tutor, and advocate for children and families. Teaching has always been about more than academics for me. I’ve always believed that sometimes the most important things we teach are the things we model, the encouragement we give, and the way we show up for others.
But life has taught me plenty of lessons that no classroom ever could.
Motherhood, loss, raising children, teaching, starting over, and walking through seasons I never expected have all shaped the woman I am today. Some of my deepest lessons have come during the quiet moments—when I didn’t have an answer and simply had to trust that God was still there.
That’s a big part of why I helped create 3Cord Collective.
I wanted a place where faith and real life could meet. A place for women who are doing their best to love their families, grow in their faith, navigate the unexpected, and simply keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Through my writing, resources, and thoughtfully designed gifts, I hope to offer a little encouragement for the journey. Sometimes we need a reminder from Scripture. Sometimes we need a few words that make us feel less alone. And sometimes we just need something beautiful that reminds us of the God we serve.
When I’m not writing or working on 3Cord Collective, you’ll probably find me helping elderly friends, spending time, playing a game of 5 Crowns or Canasta. Occasionally, I like to camp. Otherwise I am at home close to Lil Bit, my much-loved mini schnauzer.
I’ve lived enough life to know that it doesn’t always go according to plan. But I’ve also learned that God has a way of meeting us right in the middle of it—and sometimes the ordinary, messy, unexpected moments become the places where we see Him most clearly.
Above all, my hope is simple: that something you find here encourages your heart, points you toward Christ, and reminds you that your ordinary life matters.
Because it does.
And I believe every faithful little thing we do for Him can have an eternal purpose.
God Bless,
Delia Weatherly
